as to the beauty of the low country... on this topic, i could not agree more... i have been fortunate to have lived in various portions of the south, including arkansas, tennessee, north and south carolina, florida, and even mississippi... i have also lived in wisconsin, indiana, ohio, new mexico, and illinois...
and, it is safe and fair to say, that there is nowhere that compares to the beauty of the marshes around the ashley river, or to bull island's boneyard, or to the surf at beachwalker park, or to the shells of edisto island, or to the shark teeth and shark vertebrae that lie in the soil here...
nowhere else that i have lived has been so spectacularly gorgeous in the morning hours with the sun rising over the water which makes up the atlantic ocean in the distance...
nowhere has rain come and gone so fast...
i love the low country of so. carolina...
