i decided that i might want to volunteer as a crisis counselor, something that i did as a freshman in college years ago. i called, and i discovered that there is a time commitment of 4 hrs per week and 1 overnight a month... plus a mandatory interview, and 35 hrs of training...
so, this is not a volunteer experience to enter into lightly...
