fossil hunting is a great hobby here... in our small city are drainage canals that course throughout the area... in some of these, no fossils are found or at least very few... in one especially we have discovered...
the coveted megalodon
horse and bison teeth
a variety of broken and complete (with some damage) shark teeth
the days of finding these fossils on the bottom of this canal are gone... now, we dig and sift while in waders with shovel and sieve in hand...
what fun...
