enticement that leads to death

it seems that a married woman found someone to whom she was drawn, i suppose in that magnetic way that the opposite sex sometimes draws us, and decided to be honest with her husband by telling him, "i want a divorce."

when her shocked husband asked why? she replied, "because i am going to have a new relationship."

needless to say, her husband gave her the divorce; and the woman, in her honesty, tried out the new fella and subsequently married him... and she is supposedly happily married at present to the guy for whom she chose to leave her husband...

and while listening to this engaging story, i hear through that small, still voice in my head "evil desire breeds enticement which in turn breeds temptation that, when it is full grown, gives birth to sin, which leads to death..." : a paraphrase of james, the lord's brother...

james actually said that sin, when it is full grown, leads to death...
