edisto beach at the end of summer season

one of my "children" on edisto beach south of charleston, so. carolina... with me and my better/other half (who, of course took the photograph) ...we were hunting fossils, but found a whole sand-dollar, and several very pretty, white shells to make a going-away-to-college shadow-box for my other "child"... a lovely evening walk at the ocean... toward the end of summer season...
