Five Shot Outside Chicago in a Strip Mall

In Tinley Park, which is about 30 miles southwest of downtown Chicago, police received a 911 call at 10:44 a.m. Saturday, Sergeant Grady said in a televised news conference. When officers arrived at the shop, a Lane Bryant store, they found “multiple victims shot and killed,” he said.

It was uncertain Saturday afternoon whether others were injured.

The police here said they were searching for a man — wearing a winter waist length coat, blue jeans and a knit cap — in connection to the shooting.
