true blue

i wanted to point out that the slight blue-steel color that you see on these scans is "true" coloring; not a result of my scanner or my imaging software... now, i am far far far from an expert... anyone out there know within which layer these fossils "died" and were buried...? ...look at previous post "old and damaged" for the labial side of the same tooth...to see even more blue...
