invitation to study the new testament book of james

i am thinking seriously about starting an online bible study of the book of james... i know that i am about as busy as i can possibly get... and although i prefer to meet at a coffee house such as atlanta bread company on main street in summerville, so. carolina on saturday mornings... or some convenient time for all... i realize that there may be individuals out there in blogdom (or is it the blogosphere?) who might prefer to blog about the book of james with me...

so, how about it?

we can start with chapter one... maybe even get a little history from some pastors out there...

i use the life application niv bible, but have scoffield in the kjv and the nas versions... i also have another version called the holnam csb... what i do not know is ancient greek or ancient aramaic...

i am also a layperson despite a great semester of study at moody bible... and up until recently i admit to have avoided the book of james... too touchy for me... but now, it is one of my favorite books...

i like the beginning...the admonition to meet the worst of life with joy...

more later...
