fondue night

last evening, before jay, the vigilante wannabe cop, was on the radio ... telling the listeners that he "is going to vote for Senator Kerry" but claiming that: no that is not the reason he is removing bush/cheney bumper stickers from local automobiles!! ... my better/other half and i were sitting at a black restaurant counter having the special beef fondue at fast 'n french on broad street in downtown charleston, so. carolina... and drinking a bit of rose wine... and having a quiet talk between us...

then, we drove home to watch the bush/kerry debates... and i must admit, kerry is better impromptu than he is when he is giving a speech just as bush is better giving a prepared speech than an impromptu response... both men have strengths as politicians just as both have weaknesses...

nevertheless, i think the "windsurfing" ad at www.georgewbush.com nicely delineates visually the ultimate problem with kerry...
