Another Young Murderer: Matthew Murray Identified As Colorado Killer

JUDITH KOHLER writes:
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The gunman believed to have killed four people at a megachurch and a missionary training school had been thrown out of the school a few years ago and had been sending it hate mail, police said in court papers Monday.

The gunman was identified as Matthew Murray, 24, who was home-schooled in what a friend said was a deeply religious Christian household.
Murray's father is a neurologist and a leading multiple-sclerosis researcher.

Five people — including Murray — were killed, and five others wounded Sunday in the two eruptions of violence 12 hours and 65 miles apart.

And yet the religious loonies at Family Research Council are already trying to blame the "secular media" and others are already claiming he wasn't really a Christian . . . if this guy was raised a Jew or Muslim they'd be blaming everything on his religion.

Hypocrites and bearers of false witness.

on CNN, they had a missionary who had been near the shooting reminiscing about how this incident was "amazing" because it confirmed Jesus as the Savior. Something's seriously messed up with us and it's due to Christianity induced schizophrenia.

I think the point is that someone who is a real Christian would not murder anyone just as someone who is really a practicing Jew or practicing Muslim would know that murder is not sanctioned by these three Abrahamic religions...

Actually Christians feel this duality all the time; the duality of what we refer to as the "sinful nature" vs. the "new man" who is in Christ Jesus... schizophrenic? Hardly.
